A Septoplasty fixes a deviated septum by going into the nose and shaving it down to allow for better airflow.
A Turbinate Reduction removes excess swollen tissue in the nose to also allow for optimum airflow. -
Patients that suffer from a deviated septum
Patients that suffer from constant nasal congestion with little to no relief
Patients will be put on nasal sprays and could also have a CT scan and allergy tests preformed before proceeding with the procedure.
Septoplasty and Turbinate Reduction are procedures that are often preformed together. They are minimally invasive procedures that have a turnaround time from 3 days to 1 week. If you suffer from a deviated septum, schedule an appointment with us!
